Laura from Trinity Environmental was our energy consultant on the House of the Future. She modeled the performance characteristics of the house early on in the design process and guided insulation and window decisions.

We did things a little differently at the House of the Future, typically a blower door test is done at the end of construction. Instead we did one blower door test once the ceilings were drywalled and the spray foam was installed. This gave us the opportunity to put the house under negative pressure which allowed us to look for leaks and seal them prior to insulation and drywall.
