For the House of the Future we had blown cellulose R-60 in the attic, with the 1 inch of XPS which is a R-5 and the 1 inch of SIS is R-5.5 making it a continuous R-10.5 around the entire House. The wall cavities have blown in cellulose rated an R-28. We have 2 inches of XPS foam rated R-10 below slab. We ran XPS all the way to the footings which gave us a R-5 continuous slab thermal break. R-20 with 2 inches interior and 2 inches exterior of XPS on foundation walls.
