Pella’s windows provide the project great flexibility. There product is within a price point that most homes can afford. In addition, they have a number of different glass options, allowing us to customize the window performance based on the location within the building. For example, we used low U-factor glass to reduce the amount of heat that flows out of the home and high Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) ratings to introduce the sun’s radiant heat on the south facing windows. Finally, their support product allowed us the ability to provide a very large span of glass on the south face.
