The GE Profile Washer and Dryer selected for the House of the Future utilizes SmartDispense technology which automatically adds the detergent based on the size of the load and cycle selected. The washer also has a Overnight Ready setting which will have a small load of laundry washed and dried ready to wear in the morning when you wake up without having to stick the load in the dryer. There is also a Steam Refresh/Steam Assist to freshen up a garment or get the wrinkles out. The washer also is Energy Star qualified and CEE Tier 3 rated making it one of the most efficient washers on the market.
